2013 - Certified!

AHLBS launched an Innovative Product for its oil palm field operations while a total of 44 business locations were consolidated into the Shared Services Centre. 

The Company received the ISO 27001 Security Certification. 

AHLBS becomes a Training Partner of Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka.

2012 - A Year of Growth

Expanded services to cover 17 of the Group’s plantations (located in West and East Kalimanthan and Papua New Guinea) and developed an automated monitoring system to manage the Tank Farms in Indonesia. 

A Disaster Recovery site was also set-up in Sri Lanka. 

AHLBS becomes a Training Partner of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.

2011 - Consolidation


The Company’s Business Process Management (BPM) and ICT Services were merged under the AHL Business Solutions banner, while a project team to handle migrations as well as system implementation was established. 

Expanded services offered by the BPM vertical to cover payroll (Non F&A segment) within the plantations in Indonesia.

2010 - AHLBS is Born

AHL Business Solutions (Pvt) Ltd is incorporated combining all service verticals under one roof while a separate unit to handle the Document Management Centre (DMC) was set-up.

2009 - Creation of the Shared Services Centre

Basic transaction processing activities was centralized through the creation of the Shared Services Centre (SSC). With commencement of operations, the SSC delivered a transaction cost saving to the Group of 40%. 

Initiated centralized budgetary and data warehousing services with the objective of optimizing resources.

2008 - Introduction of Centralization

Introduction of Centralization

Deployed an email and messaging system to standardize the electronic communications system of the Group; the introduction of IBM Lotus Notes. 

Setting up of the Central Data Centre to store and manage all Group information resources. 

2007 - International Connectivity

International Connectivity

AHLBS deployed the Group’s international network connectivity between its Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Colombo offices. 

Commenced roll-out of Oracle Financials as the core finance system of the Group.

2005 - Networking

The Company expanded/upgraded to enable ERP systems and launched the first ERP system in one of Goodhope Group’s Plantations based in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia.

2001 - Laying the Foundation

Rolled out the first Network Infrastructure, including Internet and Email facilities, for the rural plantation locations in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia and the Corporate Office in Colombo.
